Our First Fashion Show

Project ReWear hosted its first-ever fashion show this past August at the DeFrens Studio in Westlake Village, and it was a resounding success! The event featured incredible models and a lively audience, all united by their passion for sustainable fashion and making a positive impact.

The show kicked off with some inspiring words from our founder, Kimberly Lau, who shared her personal career journey, emphasizing the importance of conscious consumerism, and the path that led her to create Project ReWear.

Once Kim wrapped up, the excitement truly began as the kids took to the runway! Models of all ages, from toddlers to teens, strutted down the catwalk, showcasing stylish, preloved back-to-school outfits.

The event also featured two powerhouse women in the sustainability space: Anna Griffin, Founder/Editor-in-Chief of Coco Eco Magazine, and Deborah Lindquist, an eco-conscious fashion designer. Both shared their insights on sustainability and creativity, offering valuable perspectives on the role fashion can play in protecting the planet.

We're already looking forward to our next event, and if you or your child are interested in being a model in a future show, on our website, or at press events, we’d love to hear from you! Email us at kim@projectrewear.com to be considered.
